Through Tamsen's Eyes... the story of the Donner Party
How did this start?
A spur of the moment trip to the Donner Museum, and an excellent docent, sparked a curiosity in me about Tamsen Donner, who was the wife of George Donner. Many books and many months later I ended up with an hour long show speaking as Tamsen to tell this incredible story.
Who is this show for?
I have performed this show at the Donner Memorial State Park, at museums, at libraries, at women's clubs. I am happy to do it as a fundraiser as well. Anyone who is interested in history will enjoy this show and will learn the story of the Donner Party that goes well beyond what is taught in school.
